Persons Responsible For The Banking Crisis To Be Santioned.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has guanratee Ghanaians that those who are being held liable in the recent “banking crisis” will face the wrath of the law.
The banking sector has been in crisis in recent times resulting to the break down of some banks and also leaving over 1,000 Ghanaians jobless.
Speaking at the 80th anniversary of the Presbyterian Boys Secondary School, Legon, Accra on 15th September, 2018, President Akufo-Addo made a declaration tending to inspire full confidence in Ghanaians that, persons responsible for the sequence of activities that led to the banking crisis will face the full brunt of the law if they’re found guilty.
He stated that, it is not right that the overwhelming majority of the ordinary Ghanaian should pay for the actions of a greedy few, without sanction.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo urge Ghanaians to remain calm for the law to be implicated.
