Sad news filtering in has it that a Ghanaian award-winning high-life artist and former member of Dobble fame Paa Kwasi has just lost his father.
The highlife singer confirmed this sad news in an interview with Brytfm Reporter, Grace Afumwaa that his (Paa Kwasi) father Mr. Patrick Kojo Boah Ayeh died at his residence following a brief illness.
He also disclosed that presently everyone is still in a state of shock most especially him (Paa Kwasi) who has been hinted to have been very close to his father because of his music career.
Paa said, “I was shocked when I heard the news of my late dad and pray that the good God should welcome him warmly”.
“My dad [Mr. Patrick Aryeh] was my everything… he contributed to the success of my music career even when everything went wrong advise me and more…” he said.
When asked what will he remember his dad for? He replied: he’s such a genius and a pillar to my genre of music I’m doing now.
The self-acclaim high-life god officially announced the demised of his father on his Facebook fan page, Paa Kwasi posted, “How I wish I could have saved you with my last breath… May your Soul Rest In Perfect Peace [RIP] daddy”. Though it was expected as the high-life artist at this critical time needed some space.
May his soul rest in peace and may God give Paa Kwasi the fortitude to bear the loss.
