They intimated that until he changes his mind and heed to their requests and supplications, the 2020 general elections will haunt him.
A visit by Journalists , to the Anum Apapam revealed a deplorable road network and almost all social amenities are lacking. An interview with some market women revealed that they lack place of convenience and a refuse container even though, they pay tax to the assembly.
Again, the road leading from the main town to the only Senior high school is nothing to write home about. Some school children who spoke to the Journalists, about the toil and hustle they go through each day to get to and fro school described the situation as a bad one.
A youth group led by one Daniel Odame, an aspiring assemblyman, disclosed to us that for the past 12years that Hon. Ayeh-Paye, has been in Parliament, he has virtually done nothing to improve the livelihood of the people of Anum Apapam.
The group claimed the MP, openly told opinion leaders of the town that since he is not on good terms with themselves District Chief Executive (DCE), Miss Florence Governor, there is no way he could work with her.
Because of this situation, a community senior high school which, was built by former President John Mahama, has not been commissioned even though, the first batch of students have completed.
A visit to an Islamic basic school at the outskirt of the town revealed a flooded compound with no access road to the school.
This situation, according to some elders of the town has contributed to school dropouts since, most of the school children do not go to school anytime it rains.
The Gyaasehene of Anum Apapam, called on the government and all stakeholders to come to their aid.
