The Chief Executive Officer of Rufftown records Bullet has showered praises on his artist, Wendy Shay.
According to Bullet in a in a recent interview with Zionfelix on the “Uncut Show”, Wendy Shay is the best female artist in Ghana now.
Wendy came to the music scene through Bullet who signed her to his label, Rufftown Records in 2018 after the demise of Ebony.
Wendy Shay has since been doing well for herself and has a number of hit songs to her credit. She is currently reigning as VGMA New Artiste of the Year.
Bullet stated in the interview that Wendy Shay was a “saving grace” for Rufftown records because he introduced her after Ebony’s demise which was a very tough time for label.
Bullet further reiterated that despite receiving backlash from all angles, Wendy Shay managed to build a tough skin to resist the negative comments.
“Most people I respect even advised me against introducing Wendy because they thought it was too early. She has been able to withstand all the naysayers and now she is the topmost female artiste in Ghana right now”. He bemoaned.
Bullet expressed his admiration for Wendy Shay for her maturity in terms of her vocal ability and performance
