Movie Producer/PRO for Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG), Mr Mawuli Epke Peter has blast veteran actor, Kofi Adjorlolo for not using the right channels to report his case to the appropriat quarters but chose the media instead to fight for his case

In an exclusive interview with alltunezgh.com, Mr Mawuli Ekpe, who doubles as a Producer and the PRO for Fipag expressed his disappointment in Mr Adjorlolo for not reporting this matter to the Association and also blamed Kofi for his own selfish interest which has lead him to this

“At this your age, how can you shoot a movie without signing a contract, and if truly some producers own you as you claim, why don’t you mention names but rather chose to make allegations just to destroy the image of the industry”. You have shot more than 500 movies and if you have been able to save or invest your money into something, you wouldn’t have been complaining by now”.

Mr Ekpe further explained that this where some of the reasons why the association decided to go for a laon from the government when they resumed office, just to assit some of the producers, so if truly, Mr Adjorlolo says some producers owe him, he should come to their office and make a formal or an official complain so that they look deep inside his case well and know how to help me get his money back. He quizzed that if some of them decid to stop productions, some actors and actresses will die of hunger.

He also thank the government for granting them the laon and warned all actors and actresses to be very careful of what they say about movie producers from now onwards

Earlier today In an interview monitored by GhanaWeb, Mr Adjorlolo indicated that after he finished starring in productions, the movie producers did not even bother to pay him. “About seven producers in this country owe me monies…why? And then I’m sitting at home, I’m hungry, and then when I’m sick too nobody pays attention…Look we have elderly people lying down on their sickbeds and these producers owe them,”

Kofi Adjorlolo further explained that he left his over 17-year-old broadcasting career for acting and ever since he became an actor, he has been taken for a ride by the producers.
