SAINT PETERS SHS PAST STUDENTS HOSTS SOCCER GALA
Over a decade and half years after completion of senior high school, the 2001 batch of the Saint Peter’s Senior High School, Nkwatia- Kwahu is set to hold the first major soccer gala galore at the Dworwulu park, opposite Dworwulu Max Mart, on the 25th day of May, 2018 at approximately 1pm.
The move is organized by the group to reunite all past students of the honored institution, a step to also improve the health status of all participants while creating an environment of acquaintance among all past students as well as friends of the institution.
According to the spokes person for the group, Oscar Kweku Kissi,”… there had been such organizations in the past, this year’s, has however seen much improvement, much participations, and wider support from old students, hence the need to make it open for all individual-friends, institutional-friends and families to come witness the likes of UEFA and EPLs right here at a local level. I wander and wonder the kind of bets being witnessed for the impending game on the 25th of this month, just a sign of how big it will be. Tell a sister to tell a boyfriend, a brother to tell a girlfriend, and a physically fit chap to inform the weak in physique, to come burn some fats out whiles entertaining to a memorable max”.
Main teams to watch out for are the Teams Farah and Roy which had taken lead places in previous competitions with star players like Farahdona (formerly of Kissi Stars), Kodua, B.B Ntiamoah, Mustapha a.k.a Bingi Bingi, and Roy.
“do not be surprised to see old students like Obrafuor the rap Osofuor, Abu Ramadan, Honorables Osei-Kyei Mensah Bonsu and Shabba, Stucky Kojo, Asem, Turas and other popular arts passing through to throw in their support on the day, which is observed as a united Africans’ day. We thank members of the sports organizing committee for the group, names like Akoto-Bamfo, Sizzla, Kalio and the rest can not be forgotten” said the spokesman for the group, Oscar Kissi.
