Obrafour Supported Me Financially When I Went Broke – Reggie Rockstone

The Hip Life Grand Papa and Originator of the Genre in Ghana, Reggie Rockstone has shared a revealing and touching story about how Obrafuor once supported him when he had gone broke.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Asaasewura Kwabena Santana on Showbiz Center on Benya monitored by kumikasa.com, Reggie Rockstone revealed that Obrafuor is not just good musically but also respectful and very kind.

He told a story of how Obrafuor gave him a kind gesture during his peak “I want to share this story about myself and Obrafuor, you know what, I got broke at a point in my career and Obrafuor dashed me an Envelope (Cash), just because I started a movement (hip life) which he was also making life from, that guy really saved me”.

He was commending Obrafuor for his 20 years of PAE MU KA and his enourmous contribution to the hip life genre.

In a response to a question by the host, if new artist who are all benefiting from hip life, including Sarkodie and Co follow this gesture by dashing him ‘Envolope’ as Obrafuor once did, Granpapa had this to say ‘Jack, I would’ve been very very rich paa ooo’
