One of the most popular voices on our airwaves since the advent of private radio in Ghana is Docta Kay, known in private life as Kwesi Acquah currently with Accra 100.5 Fm.

The unbeatable radio presenter has worked with many radio stations in Ghana over the years and through his innovative skills, Docta Kay was able to court a lot of fans in all the places he has worked.

A good evening show is like a balanced fruit salad that has a satisfying content targeted at heterogeneous audience, and that is exactly what Docta Kay offers on Accra Fm.

His ‘Ekran Kwanso’ on Accra Fm helps to uplift souls with inspirational messages aimed at  relaxing listeners with a variety of good music after a long stressful day takes the first hour segment of the show, dubbed ‘Adanse di’…

The late afternoon show travels into the evening when workers are either closing for the day or driving home and most likely tired from a hard day’s work. Tuning in to listen to someone who can make you laugh while discussing important national and social issues is certainly not a bad idea. It is a useful breakaway from the stressful and tension-filled political discussions that radio listeners may have endured during the day.

Docta Kay, besides, handles the show with a lot of maturity and confidence while showing maximum respect to his listeners.

Docta Kay started radio from Akim Oda – Biyac Fm in 2008 and moved to Techiman, Classic Fm in 2009. He later joined Kumasi based Freedom Fm in 2010 to 2011. From Freedom Fm, Docta Kay moved all the way from Ashanti Region to join Agona Swedru’s Kantinka Fm in the Central Region of Ghana as the Drive Time host. He got his first poaching to Kasoa based Pink FM in 2014 and in August 2017, he got a contract to join Accra Fm till date.
