A renowned Disc Jockey of Agoo 96.9 FM a subsidiary of Excellence In Broadcasting Network (EIB) at Nkawkaw of the Eastern Region, Omari Akwasi Ayirebi known in showbiz as “Deejay Blay the General” has been nominated for the best music promoter category of the Maiden Edition of the Itel Eastern Music Awards.
Omari Akwasi Ayirebi has been working with EIB Network stationed at Agoo FM in Nkawkaw for the past three years. He was nominated for best promoter in the Ghana DJ awards, 2015 and Eastern Best Radio DJ in 2016 but could not make it in both. He is optimistic that this year he will emerge as winner.
The voting process for the Maiden Eastern Music Awards is set to start on July 1, 2017.
