Movie Producer/PRO for Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG), Mr Mawuli Epke Peter aka Abro has stated categorically that controversial Counselor George Lutterodt should be taken to the psychiatric hospital for treatment instead of all the media attention given him.
Speaking on Best Entertainment Zone with Ixman on Best 90.5Fm, Abro made it clear that, it makes no sense for a ‘Counselor’ to give such an advice.
“I don’t see this man as normal as people see him, he needs to be taken to the psychiatric hospital. he is totally sick in the head. His assertions make no sense and needed to be given psychiatric attention in the shortest possible time instead of the media hype,’ he said.
He further explained that counselling in itself has some elements of social science and if he is to be taken serious, it is about time he added some scientific evidence to his assertions instead of just leaving it open which in turn become dangerous for society.
Counsellor George Lutterodt has been vehemently criticised by a section of the public including showbiz personalities Lydia Forson, Ama K. Abebrese, Nana Aba Anamoah, Sister Derby, Chase and Joey B for remarking that every rape victim at a point enjoys the act.
There have been calls for his arrest and subsequent interrogation as some argue he is a rape apologist.
The media has been blamed for giving him their platforms to spew what some say are ridiculous remarks. Subsequently, there is a petition to get him banned from appearing on radio and television.
