Eastern Music Awards officially launched in Kwahu

The maiden edition of the EASTERN MUSIC AWARDS ’EMA 2017’ has been officially launched in Kwahu.

The launch which was held on Saturday,15th April,2017 at Katson Hotel,Obomeng – Kwahu during the Easter Festivities brought together scores of industry players and interest groups from the length and breadth of Ghana.

The rationale as revealed by the organisers, is to acknowledge and encourage musicians and good music in the Eastern Region.

The event was proudly graced by the likes of Don Micky,Zadour,Koo Ntakra,Kinino,Oteniba,Belinda Lynertt and other Kofcity artistes.

Eastern Music Awards is organized by Hi5 Production in collaboration with the Presenters Association of the Eastern Region (PATER) and the Eastern Region branch of the Musicians Union of Ghana.

According to the organizers, the award aims at rewarding hard working musicians and music stakeholders in Ghana. “We want to help grow the music industry here.
