Gospel musician Nyamedie
Gospel musician Nyamedie has donated to AKAWE Hospital in Accra on her birthday.
As part of her corporate social responsibility, Nymedie donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to patients at the ward.
The items included assorted fruit juices, cartons of soaps and detergents, dustbins, blooms and toilet rolls and many others.
According to Nyamedie, her prime aim is to give back to society and create equal opportunities for kids and adults from deprived backgrounds.
The Manager of AKAWE hospital, Doctor Abena Mani, who received the goods on the behalf of the hospital thanked Nyamedie and her team for the donation. Doctor Abena Amani however called on cooperate bodies to also come to their aid.
Nyamedie after her donation in an interview said “I thank God almighty for the grace and opportunity given me to bless others. This is an initiative to help the poor, needy and the less privileged in the society and it’s always my dream to support the less privilege in my own little way, I thank everyone , all i will say is God richly bless you so much,” she said.
Finally, Nyameba called on stakeholders and well-meaning citizens as well as companies to come to the aid of the hospital by providing more mattresses and other pressing needs of the hospital for a more quality health delivery.
