Highlife legend, Kwaisey Pee has disclosed that despite his love for Sarkodie, the rapper has become very disrespectful and arrogant after gaining fame.
According to Kwaisey Pee, the 2007 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards best Male Vocalist of the Year, it was Sarkodie’s talent that earned him a feature on his song “Br3 Br3” but doesn’t want to talk about Sarkodie anymore.
After Kwaisey Pee’s interview with Kumikasa.com, it emerged that Kwaisey Pee is peeved because his failed attempt to feature Sarkodie on the “Br3 Br3” video hit song
“I wanted to shoot a video for ” Br3 Br3″ but Sarkodie didn’t make it happen. He always give me excuses of being busy, whenever i call him. He will sometimes give his phone to people to tell me, Sarkodie is busy and will call me back but my calls were never returned. There was even a time he told me he is in America, so I decided to send him money so that he can shoot his part there because of his busy schedules but all in vain. I don’t know why Sarkodie treated me that way but he will regret and cry one day for refusing to feature on that video” Kwaisey Pee cursed.
The Ghanaian contemporary Highlife singer Kwaisey Pee, however accused the new crop of DJs and media persons for the steady decline in the customary “Highlife” music genre
