There are a lot of controversies around who’s currently the king of highlife in the Ghana music industry. Many argue in favor of and others against who people believe is the best highlifer in consideration of the recent VGMA awards. Some people have thrown massive support over the one crowned the king, which I qualify as the Prince of highlife instead. Others are in dire disagreement too. To me, the Kings of highlife are the old living legends, which I don’t specifically plan to outline their names. Their time’s currently over though.

In the midst of all misunderstanding among the musicians and masses, there is no doubt that this new artist NANA A from the camp of NB RECORDS is going to be the KING of contemporary highlife music in the Ghanaian Music Industry. He’s better all those in the industry now.All highlife artists beware and Ghana should watch out for this guy. With extra confidence, I can boldly say this new guy is better than all the artists out there now who classify themselves as highlife artists namely; Bisa, Kuame Eugene, Kumi Guitar and many more (excluding the old highlifers with due respect).
