Kumawood actor has expressed his displeasure in Sarkodie, saying that the Sarkcess Music boss failed to call him after the music video shoot for his song ‘Gboza’ to express his appreciation.
Yaw Dabo, the diminutive actor said this in a chit-chat with Nana Romeo of Accra FM. He added that he was only paid a meager Ghc1,000 for shooting the music video for ‘Gboza’ in 2017.
According to Yaw Dabo, he does not charge ghc1,000 when he features in music videos and that, he normally charges Ghc10,000 but in the case of Sarkodie, he decided to accept the Ghc1,000 because he saw him as his big brother and also out of the love he has for him.
Yaw Dabo then added that, his problem is not mainly about the money small money he was given but was expecting some sort of appreciation by way of a phone call from Sarkodie but that never happened and that’s something that hurts him a lot.
