Ghanaian rap artiste, Isaac Akuffo popularly known as Koo Ntakra in the music scene has expressed his dissatisfaction with the Eastern Music Awards.
Speaking to Citi Showbiz, Koo said the vague voting system of the awards has sparked confusion among fans and followers of the various nominees.
“ #KOK Speaks, and to Eastern Music Awards get ur house in order before u use ur Awards to destroy & break the already ‘non-existing’ friendship of the artists in the region,” he posted on Facebook.
He says the ultimate priority of his career is to impact lives through the stories he tells with his music and to get his fans thrilled with good music and in return get himself some bucks.
“That is ‘showbiz’ not mere awards that rather bring division among artistes and their followers. Eastern Music Awards should get its voting system right,” he said.
