Majority Of Highlife Legends Are Selfish And Ungrateful-Kay Wusu

Born Anthony Kofi Owusu, popularly known as Kay Wusu has made it clear of his feeling and anxiety towards some of his senior colleagues in the music business specifically the Highlife genre.

Speaking exclusively to this portal www.bibinionline.com, the Afrocentric Highlife Artist said, it is with high level of confidence of his assertion about some of his senior colleagues. Kay Wusu thinks, there are a lot these Legends are yet to do for the new generation.

“Some of the highlife Legends has been stagnant to their side alone, they are concern about themselves alone. After gaining all the attention end of day through their good music, they decided not to invest, relax back and enjoy their money alone. They could have done better in supporting and investing their resources in the new generation like myself”—he quizzed.

Kay Wusu has songs like ‘Asore’, ‘Mo Nnure’ and many others to his credit,very talented and understands the genre highlife. His wish is to get better support from Legends on board to help in selling the music of Highlife to the world.

He tries to communicate and uplift the African culture and values. His dream is to promote the PAN-AFRICAN spirit to the youth through his music.

His current project aiming to embark on is HIGHLIFE TO THE YOUNG specifically aiming at seeing the good highlife songs to the world. He calls on other stakeholders and investors to come on board to make this dream a reality.
