Currently,Eastern region have been the hub of producing great musicians in Ghana.Artistes like Bisa K’dei,Pope Skinny,Talanku and Koo Ntakra are all artistes from the region.New to add his name to this list is Derrick Quabena Asare popularly known as Papa Kheelo.

Derrick Quabena Asare is his birth name. He is a young promising young talented male who happens to hail from the Eastern Region of Ghana precisely Akosombo. He started his elementary school back in those days and had to halt due to some issues.This guy can kill every beat, blends twi, English and pidgin to make sound good in your ears, he can come up with lyrics you can’t fathom.

Kheelo is recognised in Eastern region at large as one of the best musicians ever in the region because Kheelo can rap in all the genres; hiphop, Azonto, highlife, hiplife, etc. just give him the beat and he’ll immediately compose something on it right away.
