The Foklex media awards which seeks to recognize and reward media personnel in Ghana on regional basis for more than seven years released its list of nominees for this year’s awards with Okwahu Fm’s finest DJ Kula nominated in the best DJ of the year category -Eastern Region.
DJ Kula is one of the best DJ’s in Eastern region who works with Kwahu based Okwahu Fm. He was nominated in the 2018 Eastern Music Awards as one of the finest music/record promoters in Eastern Region. Competing with the likes of Dj Obofour,DJ Blay and others,Dj Kula is liekly to win this category
With over 70 award categories, the scheme is expected to draw media personalities from across the country for awards and recognition. Award Categories differs from region to region with the Greater Accra category being the only region with both Akan and English categories.
The annual award scheme is to honour outstanding radio personalities in different regions including Greater Accra, Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, Eastern, Central, Western, Northern, Upper East, Upper West and Volta Regions.
The Foklex Media Awards 2018/2019 will be held in March 2019 at the National Theatre at 8pm Sharp.
