50 years old ghanaian welder, who is identified as John Kakra Mensah has built an aircraft in Kokompe 2,Takoradi in the western region of Ghana.
According to the 50 years old welder, he has already made smaller sized ship and ‘tanker’ vehicles but wasn’t successful due to financial problem.
His aircraft will be officially out soon, it is left with an engine and other finishings to make the machine a complete one.
“It is 20yrs now since i started my welding job, I have made a lot of machines, like smaller ships, tanker cars and now an aircratf. School children inspired me to do this aircraft and so would do whatever I have to do to get it completey done.” , he said in an interview with Paa Kwesi Simpson on Omanbapa show on connect Fm 97.1 in Takoradi.
“I need you support to get the aircraft, trust me , its going to be great” he said
