Over the years, even though the award-winning hit maker Guru (@gurunkz) been consistent with dropping hits after hits, being given all his deserving awards for those hit songs at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards never happened.
Even though in certain instances it was obvious he deserve to win certain categories.
This situation has gotten so serious to a point that,GUru has Pulled out of the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Guru has always remained the biggest game-changer to have brought a serendipitous change to the industry with numerous hits.
Though,his works is not recognised by the various award schemes in the country, he seemed not bothered and keeps doing great with his songs.
