Renowned Ghanain highlife/afrobeats singer, songwriter, and performer Evans Kofi Mensah Feelings popularly known in the industry as Kofi Feelings has called on investors in western region to channel their investments into the music industry rather then investing in opening radio stations
The ‘Akyemfo Driver’ composer in a Facebook post advised investors to establish record labels instead of setting up radio stations, especially in Takoradi.
In the post which was sighted by Alltunezgh.com, He wrote “Pls take my advice. Don’t set up that radio station in Takoradi. Use half of that money to establish a music record label in Takoradi and sign on 4 good artiste and employ digital marketer’s and u will see the result.”
Kofi Feelingss who recently hinted of releasing his debut studio EP dubbed, “Increase Your Feelings” also advice artistes in Takoradi to take their craft very serious
“Invest in your promotions, have a monetized marketing strategy so you can become more than a garage band and Start treating your music like a business”.
