The Ghanaian music scene has seen an influx of talented artists in recent years. One of such artists is the fast-rising singer, Mzkiki. With hit song like “Neke” , Mzkiki has endeared herself to the hearts of many music lovers in Ghana.
But it appears her admiration and love for one of the country’s biggest musicians, Shatta Wale, goes beyond his music. In a recent interview, Mzkiki revealed that Shatta Wale is her kind of man.
“I love Shatta Wale. I remember someone took me to his home to meet him, but he wasn’t around, and I came home crying all day,” Mzkiki said.
She went on to share how Shatta Wale’s music has influenced her career and style of music. “His music is so inspirational to me. His energy, his attitude, his confidence. Everything about him motivates me to be a better artist,” she added.
Mzkiki, who is set to release a new EP titled “Echo”, is determined to make her mark on the music scene and hopes to one day collaborate with Shatta Wale. “That would be a dream come true for me. He’s one of the biggest artists in Ghana, and I would love to work with him one day,” she said.
The music industry in Ghana has been known to be competitive, but Mzkiki is confident in her abilities and is ready to make a name for herself. “I believe in myself, and I know I have what it takes to be successful in this industry. It’s not going to be easy, but I’m ready for the challenge,” she declared.
