Artists going half naked started in Ghana some years back with music diva Raquel at the Citi FM’s ‘Decemba2Rememba’ concert and continued with a rising musician Wisa Gried who also showed his manhood to his fans at the same concert in 2016.
This didn’t just end there. Fastforward, in the year 2017 self-acclaimed dance hall king Shatta Wale repeated this act by going half naked at the 2017 ‘Ghana Meets Naija’ concert, removing everything except his boxer short.
The Koforidua Srodae representative, born Agyei Henry with the stage name Bediako, a contestant in the maiden edition of the National Rap Show also goes half naked as he got gingered by the crowd who made it to Jackson Park on Saturday, October 28.
The rapper’s stage appearance took everyone by surprise as he walked on stage with his boxer shorts to do a rap freestyle. He then took his clothes from different directions in the crowd to wear as part of his stagecraft
Bediako who thought it was wise to remind people of Koforidua about Wisa Gried pulled down his trousers, shirts and sneakers again, reach out to his dingus to show the crowd to their chagrin. This got the judges wondering if he could have been on some marijuana
Later that night saw some great musicians like Pataapa Amisty, Kwaw Kese, Kwaku Manu, Lilwin amongst others who performed at the Akwantukese Street Carnival organised by Joy Industries, producers of Joy Dadi Bitters, Joy Twedie Ginger, Joy Ointment and Joy Medicated Soap
