The official list of nominees for the 2017 Itel Eastern Music Awards scheduled for September,has been released by the Board of Eastern Music Awards and the organisers.
The list saw Afro Pop Star,Yaw Daybreak,one of the finest Kofcity act gearing up for 3 awards at the 2017 Itel Eastern Music Awards.
The “Bie gya” composer who has continuously released and churned out hits after hits like “your body, “M.I.E.S” which features the NKz flag bearer Guru and others has been nominated for 3(three) categories.
The Friday night hitmaker(which is currently the popular song in the region) secured the various categories;
1. High Life artiste of the year,
2. High life song of year
3. Afro Pop song of The year.
Daybreak comes against stiff competition from Medikal,Atom,Koo Ntakra Kuami Eugene,Ennwai-Dobble and several others.
