I’m Like Salt, Without Me It”ll Be Difficult For Your Song To Trend_TikTok Star Asantewaa Brags
Tiktoker Asantewaa, a Ghanaian celebrity, has publicly boasted that she’s like salt and that without her, it’ll be tough for a song to trend on TikTok.
In an interview with Nana Romeo Asantewaa on Accra FM’s Ayekoo, she remarked that although her fellow TikTokers promote music, all she does is enjoy good music.
According to her, she stopped producing such content since her brand has grown so strong that musicians can no longer afford her services.
She stated that even if she gets paid GH10,000 for such services, she will not accept it.
She added that although some artists still reach out to her management to engage her service, she no longer entertains them because they don’t have money.
She agreed that she and her colleague TikTok stars used to take GHS3000 to promote a song, stating, in addition, that, “now, we’ve increased the fee,” because “the brand is solid.”
That notwithstanding, “even if you give us GHS10 billion, we still won’t do it,” she clarified.
“I have stopped,” she stressed. “My colleagues still do it; Wesley and co, but I have stopped.”
Asantewaa also described herself as “salt” and thus, when she is not part of a promotional drive “it is not sweet.”
